PainSadness takes up every part of your being, It controls the tone of your voice,Pain
The quivering of your lips, And the impulsiveness of your choice.
Your heart becomes heavy, The echoing in your ears, Becomes the only thing that you hear, And the pain that is raking through you body gives way to your fears.
The lump in your throat becomes a solid mass, You can't swallow because it hurts, The liquid in your eyes burns, You feel the ground beneath you begin to lurch.

FutureNow is the future, There is no present, Every second moves us forward, To another second to look toward.Future
The second behind, Well it is what it is, The second that passed us by,
No reason for us to look back to ask why.
For that second that passed, We waste the precious future seconds on, We cannot hope to live in this eternal future, When we dwell on the past, our one-time suitor.

Breathe InI hear every breath you take, And each moment I think my heart will break.Breathe In
Expressions of emotions that aren't felt, Having to cope with the hand that has been dealt.
Breathing you in, Exhaling you out, Tears come as I feel the last of you leave my chest, Knowing that I loved you the best.
Falling for you was so easy, All the while knowing I soon would be free.
Afraid of that ever imobilizing cold, Wanting you to in my arms forever to hold.
So as I listen to your beautiful rest, And watch the rising and falling of your chest.

YetWhere we go does not portray where we've been, Yet it directs us.Yet
When we get there does not depict our speed, Yet it pushes us.
Why we are there does not give it meaning, Yet we understand.
How we get there does not allocate our status, Yet it elevates us.
What we are does not characterize who we are, Yet it is our embodiment.
